Co-President

Mr. Rufino is currently the Co-President and a Director of The Net Group, the largest Owner, Developer, and Manager of Office Buildings in the Bonifacio Global City central business district in the Philippines. Completed Projects include Net One, Net Square, Net Cube, Net Quad, Net Plaza, Net Lima, and Net Park. The Net Group is the only office portfolio developer with its entire portfolio certified under BERDE (Building for Ecologically Responsive Design Excellence), the national voluntary green building rating tool of the country – making it the top green office developer in the country. As Co-President, Mr. Rufino oversees key business and support groups that include business development, construction and project management, leasing, asset management, property management, accounting & finance, investor relations, public relations, and marketing.

Prior to joining The Net Group, Mr. Rufino was involved in the development and management of various real estate projects that included office buildings, residential condominiums, industrial warehouses, mixed-used developments, and cinemas.

Mr. Rufino is a licensed real estate broker and part of Carstel Realty. He graduated with a Master of Science in Real Estate Development from Columbia University and a Bachelor of Science in Management from the Ateneo De Manila University.

Mr. Rufino is currently the Chairman of the Philippine Green Building Council (PhilGBC), which he also helped found in 2007, and the Chair of the Urban Land Institute Philippine National Council. He currently chairs the Next Gen Council of World Willdlife Fund (WWF) Philippines.  He is a Past President of the Philippine Chapter of Entrepreneur’s Organization (EO) and past Regional Director for Asia for the EO Global Student Entrepreneurship Awards – the premier global student entrepreneurship competition. He is also a member and board leader of the Young Presidents’ Organization (YPO) Philippines and member of the Management Association of the Philippines (MAP)

Mr. Rufino was awarded Real Estate Personality for 2015 at the 3rd Annual Philippine Property Awards. He is the youngest ever recipient of the award. In 2016, he was also recognized as a winner in the prestigious 40 Under 40 Competition of Urban Land Magazine which recognizes the best and brightest young land use professionals from around the globe.
