Jinglei Chen is the Executive Director and Founding Member of BEI Capital, which is an Asia-based global real estate and alternative investment company. Jinglei was previously a Director for Grosvenor Asia. Before that, she had been a senior vice president in the Private Market Investment Department of China Investment Corporation in Beijing with primary responsibilities of sourcing, underwriting and executing direct real estate investments and co-investments with numerous international operators and investors. She has closed on transactions over $1bn in equity value including Canary Wharf and General Growth Properties, and over $600mm in committed equity for real estate funds. She previously worked at Merrill Lynch & Co. in New York, where she was an assistant vice president in the Risk Management division and a senior specialist for the Debt Technology group. Jinglei is fluent in English and Mandarin and is a charter holder of Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA).
