Lin Jia aims to create well thought-out, innovative and integrated work. From conceptual design through construction, she believes in the power of design to better humanity. She joined Gensler in 2011 having graduated from the University of Virginia and the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania with architecture and business degrees, respectively.

Her experience in architecture and business research imbue her with a multifaceted lens to work with the big picture. While at Gensler, she has led the development of a concept called the Spaces In-Between (SIB) as a mixed-use differentiator of projects at Gensler. Not only has this concept won a 2014 Gensler Innovation Award as well as an on-going four year grant, it has generated project collaborations with developer clients in China. Lin is committed to fostering strategic client relationships and collaborating with her colleagues to bring forth the best design solutions for our evolving world. She was also chosen as a 2017 Raisina Fellow for the Raisina Dialogues and Asian Forum for Global Governance in New Delhi, India, where she shared insights from the design field on sustainable cities.
