Dave Chiou focuses on building up research capabilities for occupier clients, and in industrial property, property management and project management.

Dave spent the first fourteen years of his career as an equity analyst working for large international investment banks including Citigroup and Nomura Securities in Taipei and Hong Kong and focusing on the real estate and consumer/retail sectors. His research was highly ranked in surveys of major institutional investors such as GIC, JP Morgan and Blackrock. Over the past three years Dave has made a career move to focus on real estate in China, working in Shanghai for companies including a well-known commercial property consulting firm, where he was head of China capital markets research.

Dave’s excellent analytical and forecasting skills, and broad experience from across the region, deliver strategic, rigorous and actionable research in China that is fully integrated with Colliers strong and expanding Asia research platform.
